Ten years ago, we filmed one of my very first music videos. It was 2015, on one of those rare winter days when everything came together in the most perfect way: fresh snow on the ground, a bright blue sky above, and the sun shining as if it were spring. We knew it was a moment you don’t wait for, so we grabbed the opportunity and headed out into the cold.
Despite freezing temperatures, the shoot was pure joy. There was something magical about working under those conditions. To survive the cold, I was actually wearing a full ski outfit underneath my self-made costume, not exactly visible on camera, but very necessary. Looking back now, that day feels like the beginning of so much: a snapshot of early passion, resourcefulness, and the thrill of creating something that is forever.
The music is Kali from the Soundtrack Album »Sometimes at Night« is a Folk song about the indian Goddess Kali. I wrote this song for a theatre soundtrack in 2013, a theater play performing in Berlin.
