This song has been written in 1941 by Kurt Weill (with lyrics by Ira Gershwin) and is part of the musical “Lady in the dark”. It also got known through interpretations by Julie Andrews and Ella Fitzgerald.

It’s one of my favourite jazz standards and musical songs, because it speaks about the magic of dreams coming true through the power of imagination, not just as a tool for creating art, but for manifesting abundance in life. It’s about believing in something before you can see it, patiently waiting for your “ship to come in,” that moment when what you’ve imagined finally appears in reality.

At its core, it reminds us that true fulfilment is found in the love, alignment, and inner harmony.
